Dr. Charalampos Harris Zourelidis

Dr. Harris is an orthopedic trauma surgeon and the Medical Director of Polyclinic.ae, with over 25 years of experience in orthopedics. He specializes in sports injuries, knee and shoulder injuries, as well as joint replacement. He earned his medical degree in St. Petersburg and has 15 years of experience working in leading clinics in the United Kingdom. He completed advanced training in arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee, as well as joint replacement, at the University Hospital of Wales — the third largest hospital in the UK. Dr. Harris has performed over 6,000 procedures, including total and partial knee replacements, shoulder replacements, knee and shoulder arthroscopies, and soft tissue reconstruction surgeries. His expertise includes anatomical anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstructions and advanced arthroscopic techniques such as posterior compartment knee arthroscopy, arthroscopic acromioclavicular joint fixation, and the arthroscopic Latarjet and Eden-Hybinette procedures. In 2014, Dr. Harris was invited to Dubai, UAE, where he joined the Dubai Bone and Joint Center, the country’s first specialized clinic in orthopedics, working there until 2017. From 2017 to 2021, he headed the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology at Emirates Specialty Hospital. Between 2021 and 2024, he served as Head of the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology and Medical Director at Valiant Hospital. In 2016 and 2017, Dr. Harris was appointed Chief Tournament Doctor for the prestigious ATP/WTA World Tennis Tournaments in Dubai, UAE.
