Smile Makeover and Diastema Closure with Veneers, Crowns, and Professional Teeth Whitening
Problem
The patient was unhappy with the gap between the upper front teeth, as well as the shape and colour of the teeth.
Solution
The goal was to close the gap, improve the shape and proportions of the upper teeth, and create a natural, brighter smile.
- Consultation and planning: The smile was assessed, photographs were taken, and the shape of the planned restorations was agreed with the patient.
- Whitening: The lower teeth were professionally whitened to achieve a harmonious shade with the planned upper restorations.
- Tooth preparation and temporary restorations: The upper front teeth were prepared for ceramic veneers to correct their shape and close the gap. The back teeth were prepared for crowns to restore their shape and function. Temporary restorations were then placed.
- Final restorations: The permanent ceramic veneers and crowns were tried in and bonded in place. Result
Result
The gap was closed, the shape and proportions of the upper teeth were restored, and the shades of the upper and lower teeth were brought into harmony. The smile looks natural and balanced.
