Home Sleep Study at a Special Rate
Find out what happens while you sleep — without leaving home
Snoring? Waking up exhausted after eight hours in bed? Blood pressure that won’t come down? This may be sleep apnoea — repeated pauses in breathing during sleep that directly affect the heart, blood pressure, and risk of heart attack and stroke. A Home Sleep Study is done in your own home, in your normal environment. No hospital. No preparation.
What’s included
✅ Home Sleep Study — AED 1,100
✅ Follow-up cardiologist consultation with report review — included in the consultation fee
✅ Initial cardiologist consultation — billed separately, AED 590
What is a Home Sleep Study?
It is a clinically validated test of breathing during sleep. A portable device records blood oxygen levels, breathing rate and pauses, and cardiovascular response — everything that happens through the night while you’re unaware of it. Your cardiologist receives the full report and at the follow-up appointment explains the results in detail: what was found, what it means, and what to do next.
How it works
Step 1. Initial consultation. Your cardiologist listens to your symptoms, reviews your history, determines whether the study is right for you, and arranges delivery of the device to your home.
Step 2. The study at home. The device is brought to you with full instructions. You put on a small sensor before bed and sleep as you normally would — in your own bed, in your usual routine.
Step 3. Follow-up with your cardiologist. Your doctor reviews the complete report and explains everything at your appointment: what was found, how serious it is, and what the next steps are.
When to consider this test
- Persistent snoring — noticed by those around you
- Breathing pauses during sleep — reported by a partner or family member
- Daytime sleepiness, feeling unrefreshed in the morning
- Morning headaches
- High blood pressure — especially if it’s hard to control
- Heart palpitations or arrhythmia
- Excess weight
- Poor concentration, chronic fatigue
What the study shows
- Whether sleep apnoea is present and how severe
- Blood oxygen levels through the night
- Frequency and duration of breathing pauses
- Cardiovascular response to breathing interruptions
- The connection between disrupted sleep and risk of hypertension, arrhythmia, and cardiac complications
If a problem is found
Your cardiologist will propose a clear plan:
- CPAP therapy for obstructive sleep apnoea
- Correction of risk factors — weight, blood pressure, lifestyle
- Treatment of related cardiac conditions
- ENT referral if anatomy is contributing to the problem
- Endocrinology referral where needed
- A personalised prevention plan for heart attack and stroke
