Breast ultrasound, mammography, pelvic ultrasound, a Pap smear and CA125

After 40, mammography joins breast ultrasound as the gold-standard combination for breast cancer screening. This check-up brings both imaging methods together with gynaecological cancer screening in a single visit.

Your mammogram, ultrasound and tumour marker results — your gynaecologist reviews each one at a dedicated follow-up consultation and sets out a personalised plan, whether that’s continuing annual screening or investigating a finding further.
